msGUIDE at Pint of Science 2025

Pint of Science Returns to Munich!

From May 19–21, 2025, Munich once again joined the global Pint of Science festival, a unique series of events that brings science out of the lab and into the cozy atmosphere of local pubs and bars. The goal? To bridge the gap between researchers and the public by creating a relaxed setting where science feels approachable and fun.

This year, Jasmin Häberle, a PhD student at Helmholtz Munich and an active contributor to the msGUIDE project, took the stage with her talk “Glow in the Dark – Unsichtbare Krankheiten mit Fluoreszenz sichtbar machen.” Speaking in German and using a jargon-free style, Jasmin explained how fluorescence technology is helping to make invisible diseases visible, sharing insights from msGUIDE’s latest innovations. Her enthusiasm captivated the audience, sparking curiosity and lively discussion.

Events like Pint of Science remind us that science belongs to everyone—and that a good conversation often starts with a pint!
