Helmholtz Munich and its Institute of Biological and Medical Imaging (IBMI), coordinator of the msGUIDE project, participated in the 2025 edition of herCAREER on October
herCAREER is the largest career and networking event in Europe. The annual expo, which took place on October 10th – 11th 2025 in Munich, created a unique space for women and people of diverse genders to connect with employers, explore opportunities, and gain inspiration in a welcoming yet professional environment. Beyond exhibition booths, the event offered targeted networking sessions, motivational talks, and an innovative matching tool that linked visitors and companies based on CVs.
IBMI joined the Helmholtz Munich stand, where several team members, including science managers working in the msGUIDE project, engaged with visitors throughout the event. Our goal was to showcase career paths in bioengineering, a field rich with opportunities in both research and science management. We were thrilled to meet many talented women interested in our work and eager to learn more about roles within our institute.
In the coming weeks, we look forward to seeing whether these conversations lead to new collaborations, or even new additions to the msGUIDE team!
